At Jake’s, we've been serving our customers for more than 76 years. We strive to provide A Higher Standard of Service–like no other in our industry! We also answer the Higher calling to serve others in Christ through our ministry efforts. Jesus called us to "love your neighbor as you love yourself," Mark 12:29-31. We can't think of a better way to show our love than by feeding one of our most vulnerable neighbors.

When you do business with Jake’s Finer Foods, you’re doing more than putting food on the table at thousands of restaurants, you’re helping put food on the table for thousands of Texas children in need.
Feeding children is about more than just food. We believe feeding the body and spirit of today’s children creates flourishing communities for tomorrow. Nourished children perform better in the classroom and have fewer health and behavioral issues. We also nourish their soul with Christian devotionals, scripture and coloring books to encourage a relationship with Jesus.

Partnering with organizations across the state, like Kids' Meals, we maximize our resources to reach children who would otherwise risk going hungry each day. In fact, the county where our home office is located has the highest rate of child food insecurity in the nation!
Our goal is to provide 500,000 meals to Texas children in the next three years. Using our service hours and food resources, we will impact lives and bring people to know Jesus Christ, the eternal nourishment for the soul.
